What to Buy and Where to Get It

I don't know about you guys but I absolutely love to try out and make new outfits! But I also know that it can be quite difficult to put together certain pieces; especially when you have a limited budget or closet. Here is a list of stores that I wrote about for the good and bad qualities. I hope you find it useful! Because you are beautiful! XO- couturequeeen

FOREVER21
All of you probably know this fashionable store. You probably also know that the prices are most likely the cheapest you will find in your local mall for teen clothing. Whenever I come here, in my opinion, shorts and skirts are much more stylish then the tops and dresses. I have found high wasted shorts and floral skirts that I am so excited to wear and am obsessed with. The shoes are also unique, but cute and come at a relatively good price.
Pros
-inexpensive
-stylish (for the most part)
-huge amount of variety
-very accessible (in almost every mall)
-constant sales or clearances

Cons
-Some pieces are questionable
-some fabrics tear and produce holes easily
-everyone shops there, it's hard to find
something not everyone already has
-crowded fitting room/lines

brandy melville
Before last year, hardly anyone knew what Brandy was. Now, their store couldn't be more popular. The store provides a vintage/edgy style of clothing combining floral patterns with modern slang. This store for me is where I would go to get tops to pair with simple bottoms like jeans or plain skirts. I've wanted to get rings for the longest time but haven't gotten around to it. I've seen several of their rings and am in love!
Pros
-Adorable clothing and accessories
-large variety of styles and clothing
-thin fabrics perfect for Summer weather.
-no other store has same style.

Cons
-some items can be quite expensive
-extremely crowded with long lines
-limited stores in certain area
-many people shop their making it difficult
to find unique items
-fabrics are thin causing tears
-jewelry is cheap
-one size fits all

FOREIGN EXCHANGE
Foreign Exchange is the store that not many people know about, but when they shop in it, like the clothing and style. Whenever I go in, I swear I end up with something when I walk out. The clothing is an indie combined chic look that provides an equal amount of both varieties. The store has anything from camos to florals!
Pros
-inexpensive
-cute clothing
-large variety of styles
-never crowded or long lines
-constant sales
-discount with student ID

Cons
-some fabrics are very thin
-selected pieces often don't come in
many sizes

So I hope you found this post helpful and these are just a few of my favorite stores. These are just my opinions so if you disagree that's totally up to you. Thanks for reading!

Revlon COLORSTAY

Hey everyone!
I recently purchased Revlon's colorstay 24 hour foundation for combination/oily skin. I have heard so many great things about it and it was only $10 at Target. The other foundations that I have wanted like Makeup Forever's HD Foundation were between $40 and $50, which did not work for me. This foundation however, was inexpensive and specializes with oily skin, which I tend to have in the "T" zone. I hope this is helpful and you guys check it out at Target, Walmart, or even online. Because you are beautiful! XO- couturequeen
This is what it looks like and I have it in the shade 350 Rich Tan. I always but foundations that are too light for me so I went a bit darker hoping it would match my skin tone better. Although you lose your tan in the Fall/Winter time, I think it's also light enough to look natural in all seasons year round.

Back to School

Whenever the school year is close to beginning, sadly, the thing I worry about most is what I'm going to wear. Some of the best outfits can be made just by messing around with colors and patterns and creations could be made in a matter of minutes. The first week of school is the time when we are all (at least the girls) trying to look our best to make the best impression that we can. So I've put together a few outfits that I plan to wear in my first week of school to kick off my new style. I hope you enjoy your first week and the rest of the year with great fashion and high confidence. Because you are beautiful! XO -couturequeen

In this outfit I'm
wearing  high-wasted
polka dot
shorts and instead of
a boring white or
black shirt, I
put on a vibrant red
crop top peeking a
sliver of my stomach
for the extra chic
look.
TOP- WETSEAL
SHORTS- FOREVER21

I dressed it up with
this black long sleeved
"peek-a-boo" (as I like
to call them) top.
To add some color, I
paired this flowy
floral skirt and black
Converse high-tops.
TOP- FOREVER21
SKIRT- FOREVER21
SHOES- NORDSTROMS
